In Oct 2021, Eurocrane secured a large size land in Anhui province and the construction project was launched in May 2022.The land size is 32 hectares and was used to develop a large scale crane manufacturing base. As up to the end of March 2023, the main buildings had been completed with the total construction size of nearly 300,000 sqm. Eurocrane had designated the key personnel and booked the necessary equipment for Anhui project. The production of Anhui crane manufacturing base is expected to begin in Sep 2023,which will significantly increase Eurocrane's production capacity,thus we can ensure better lead time and service more customers. On 28th April 2023, Eurocrane announced its annual financial result of 2022 with the key figures as follows: 1. The total revenue increased 17.71% from Euro 209 million as it of 2021 to Euro 246 million. 2. The net profit increased 9.72% from Euro 24.3 million as it of 2021 to Euro 26.7 million. 3. An overhead crane,or called bridge crane,is widely used for lifting heavy objects in factory.In order to guarantee safety and extend the crane service life,here are some general rules of operation and maintenance need to follow. 1. Measures should be taken before the crane is put into use. 1.1. After the crane test and load test, please confirm the following work. (1) Ensure the crane is in the process of installation and use to comply with national safety regulation . (2) Crane status, installation and electrical equipment, must be approved by the relevant inspection authorities. (3) To verify that all equipment is working properly. (4) Steel structural parts must be complete and not damaged. (5) Inspection and maintenance must be carried out. 1.2. Specify the appropriate personnel to serve as the crane driver (1) Make sure that the crane driver is familiar with all the equipment and the correct operating procedures. (2) The driver must have a clear idea of which operating methods are dangerous and can cause accidents at the job site. (3)The pilot must have the operation, maintenance and inspection of the code of conduct, and to understand the code of conduct. 2. Crane place (1) If a crane works in a dangerous place with a fire, a fire extinguisher must be provided in the driving room. (2) At the same time, it must be independent of the location of the crane for the driver to leave the crane. (3) Crane under the working area must have adequate lighting. (4) If the same track also runs on other cranes, the collision avoidance measures must be taken. 3. Crane Use (1) Crane may only be used for load specified in the data sheet. Speed and load combination. (data table is generally located in the driving room). (2) If the crane is operated outdoor without an anemometer, there must be some other way to ensure that the driver does not use the crane in high winds and that there is sufficient time to storm lock and mechanical lock the crane. (3) Don't use a crane under the wrong conditions. Under normal operating conditions, all the safety devices and overload protection devices must be connected. (4) Overload protection and limit switches are safety systems, not auxiliary equipment. This security system is used to reduce human error. The overload protector is not called Jack role. The driver must ensure that the load does not exceed the rated load of the crane. This can ensure the crane life and low maintenance costs. (5) Cranes can only be horizontal and vertical suspended cargo. At an angle of lifting load is not allowed. Only when the goods are in the air before they begin to walk and turn operation. Crane can be subjected to oblique tension caused by cargo rolling. But it must be avoided because of the extra sway caused by walking and rotation. (6) The person responsible for the hook must be trained and the signal system associated with the driver must be familiar. (7) An attachment for a fixed weight, such as a sling, chain, pallets and boxes must be worked well and in line with the relevant provisions. (8) It is not allowed to change the speed of the load from the load to the no-load condition. 4. Maintenance (1) Crane owners must ensure that the use and inspection of the crane are in conformity with the code of practice attached to the crane. The work must be handed over to the competent personnel to complete. (2) The crane structure and the use of the specification shall not be modified or improved without the approval of the manufacturer. Wire rope is the key component of hoisting mechanism for an overhead crane,it affects the safety of crane greatly.Thus it's really important for our overhead crane operator to judge whether the wire rope need to replace and learn how to replace the wire rope. Today I will share you some tips,hope it will be helpful to you. When judge the problem of wire rope, observe the principle of: The rope is straight with load, and twist without load: cranes problem. The following situations which shown in the photos are common damaged wire ropes; discard it according the actual situation. Mechanical damage due to rope movement over sharp edge projection whilst under load. Localised wear due to abrasion on supporting structure. Narrow path of wear resulting in fatigue fractures, caused by working in a grossly oversize groove, or over small support rollers. Two parallel paths of broken wires indicative of bending through an undersize groove in the sheave. Severe wear, associated with high tread pressure. Severe wear in Lang`s Lay, caused by abrasion. Severe corrosion. Typical wire fractures as a result of bend fatigue. Wire fractures at the strand, or core interface, as distinct from `crown` fractures. Break up of Independent Wire Rope Core resulting from high stress application. Looped wires as a result of torsional imbalance and/or shock loading. Typical example of localised wear and deformation. Multi strand rope `bird caged` due to torsional imbalance. Protrusion of rope center resulting from buildup of turn. The appearance of the independent steel core convex caused by the impact load. Replacement of wire rope a) Remove the rope guide. b) Lower the hook set onto the support. Remove the old wire rope from the rope end fixture and connect the rope to the end of the old wire rope with a clamp, then use the auxiliary lifting machine to lower the old wire rope tail to the ground. c) Fix the old wire rope tail to the empty drum, drive the reel and the empty drum, and wrap the old wire rope around the empty drum. See picture below. d) Wrap the old wire rope until the wire rope on the drum is reduced to the vicinity of the pressure plate and remove the first pressure plate near the end of the rope. See picture below. e) Connect the tail of the wire rope to the nylon rope, fix the nylon rope to the auxiliary hoisting machine, remove the remaining pressure plate, and lower the wire rope to the ground. f) Wrap the new wire rope on the pulley as it is, one end of wire rope fixed to the rope end device and the other end of wire rope fixed to the pressure plate on the drum. g) When the power is turned on, the wire rope will wrap the drum after lifting the hook.

Recently,Dali company-the 100% subsidiary of Eurocrane was rewarded as "2021 First Prize of Excellent Engineering Design in Hydropower Industry"for its' Baihetan cable crane project. Baihetan Hydropower Station is currently the largest hydropower project under construction in the world with the highest comprehensive technical difficulty. Baihetan Hydropower Station is located in the Jinsha River in Sichuan Province, China. The maximum dam height of the reservoir is 289m and this power station was equipped with 16 sets of 1 million KW hydropower units, which are the largest single hydroelectric generating set in the world. The project was started in 2013 and will be completed in 2022. After the completion, it will become the second largest hydropower station in China and the twelfth in the world. At the dam construction site, you can see that a huge cable crane group is arranged on the slopes on both banks. Seven cable cranes run on the parallel tracks in between the two sides of mountains, forming an air corridor for the transportation of concrete, equipment and materials. Dali Company, which is a 100% subsidiary of Eurocrane and was acquired in 2019, was honored to produce and supply all the cable cranes for Baihetan project. For the construction of Baihetan dam, a total of 8 million M3 of concrete and 126,000 tons of metal structure, equipment and other materials were needed for lifting, all of which are lifted and transported by these seven huge cable cranes.

On 20th April 2020, Eurocrane obtained an order of two cranes from one Pakistan 900MW power station project. Despite the impact of Covid-19 pandemic, Eurocrane`s team surmounted various difficulties to complete the installation & commissioning by October 2020 within the customer's time table. These two cranes are characterized by large tonnage, light weight and low limit space.
